Since we moved to Wyoming I've been trying a couple new things to keep myself occupied and pass the time while Andrew is in class and doing homework and before I start watching kiddos next week. Canning is one of those things but I've also attested to take up sewing again. Which at first wasn't going well, I found a really cute skirt pattern at Hobby Lobby which was on sale for 99 cents so got a couple patterns...only to discover I have no idea what I'm doing or how to read one.
So I scratched the pattern plan for my skirt and just started winging it.

I felt pretty good about it! Cute fabric and the greatest part is...drum role please...
It fit me!!!
